Is anyone going? I hear there are diesel trucks Friday and Saturday night... Obviously everyone is going to St. Charles Friday night, but is anyone going Saturday night?

http://www.gascofair.com/entertainment.php

It says ITPA and CMPA 8,000lbs diesel trucks, whatever class that is?

MMTTPA saturday night, 2.6 and 3.0 classes
Where do you see that? I see MGTMRA but nothing about MMTTPA. I'd hate to haul my 2.6 truck out there if its just a 3.0 class...

Its not an MMTTPA 3.0 class. It's ITPA/CMPA. Should be a good pull.

I'll be spectating and a friend of a friend said MMTTPA 2.6 class but I can't speak with authority.  It is on MMTTPA web site that they have a pull there, FWIW.

maybe 2.6 yes. But not 3.0. They wish they could get 3.0 trucks.

No way I have time to get a killswitch ready by then... Nor do I have a fire jacket and helmet. Did I read their sight correctly that's it's $50 to hook with them once? Might be fun to watch, but I doubt I'll be able to pull...

MMTTPA is $40 one time hook I pulled with them last Saturday.  Kill switch isn't hard you can do it for around $30 total just get a trailer break away switch and a relay and wire it into your ignition.  You can still pull if you don't have your helmet and jacket the guy who runs it has an extra jacket he will let you borrow, a helmet would be nice to have but he would let you borrow that also.

Other than the sloppy track, that was a good time. Man Beasly can put it on them.

It was pretty bad. It was mud pit at the launch. They did buy a tarp to keep the track dry but the person responsible for the pulls and the track didn't bother to enusre it put down thursday or friday before the rain hit so it had 2 days of rain on it. Not sure how it would have been it they had covered the track.
