Man it has been hard finding time to get the pulling truck back together. We tore it down the end of last year to make changes and it has been setting behind the shop since. We have been trying to work on the pastfew months but with all the shop work that has been coming in we have been sheduled full about 2 weeks out for the past couple months and we still are. I finally just had to schedule a couple days of no shop work just so we could get the truck back together.

I think it looks pretty good with the new front end on it.

Had to modify the cummins weight bracket to fit the new bumper. Soon as I get done painting it I will post a pic of it mounted.

I will have to see what is happening then. I hate to drive that far to have a bunch of Cummins whip my butt.

Pulled in the 8500lb Pro Street Diesel class. There was 5 trucks in it including me and 3 of them were Ballies Cummins and the other was an OBS Stroker that was just chipped and had no chance and just hooked for the fun of it.

I was around 60 feet back from the Cummins as they all pulled in the 305-310foot range.

My truck weighed in at 7550 lbs so I was still 950 lbs lighter then all the Cummins. As u can see in the video the truck was really slow to spool off the line. I usually take off in 2nd gear and then lock the convertor but from the looks of it I am going to have to drop to 1st to start out just to get the turbos to spool with the changes we made. The turbos never lit until about the 50ft mark last night.

Going to try and pickup some more weight this week and see how it does next weekend. I am also thinking about re-gearing but I am going to make one change at a time and start with the weight.

Even though I was way back from the Cummins I was very pleased overall for the first time out this year since it actually did not break.

After the pulls we went to McDonalds to eat. It turned into a big DPP get together in the parking lot. We all got to talking and figured out I probably had a first in the pulling world last night. The sled is Cummins powered so not only was I pushing a Cummins on the front of my Stroke but I was pulling one behind it at the same time.Wink

Link won't work for me... is it right? I searched on youtube with DPP, twin turbo, parallel turbo, powerstroke and sledpull and only found 2 videos of it that were old.

Pulled at the Ozark Empire Fair last night. I pulled 264ft which was 43ft behind first.

We had made some programming changes but still had issues getting the turbos to spool quick and it was 40ft or so before they did this time. Truck pulled strong and ran great once they spooled up until it shut down suddenly. Not sure exactly what caused this as the truck fired right back up.

Overall I am pleased with how the truck ran. Just still have a few bugs to work out such as the slow spooling and whatever caused it to shut down.

And yes the Video SUCKS. For some reason no matter who takes videos for me they never turn out good at all.
